“I am interested in the narrative inherent in images. For example, when shooting a graduation for students with cognitive disabilities recently, I wanted to visually tell the story of the joy, pride and the determination required of each of these students and their families to reach this milestone.”
Whether chronicling street life in New York City, meticulously staging a portrait in a studio, or capturing the beauty of a fashion show hosted on an estate in Georgia, Ann’s attention to detail and artistic sensibility are evident in every photograph. Fearless in exploring even complex or somber concepts, her images are consistently imbued with a unique perspective that embraces both the darkness and the light, both the scholarly and the whimsical.
With more than 18 years experience as an award-winning photographer, Ann has been covering corporate events, parades, fashion shows, school graduations, and movie sets since she was a teenager. She has managed and photographed shoots for everything from album covers in an Olympic-sized pool to fashion editorial spreads set in a Cincinnati cemetery. Ann holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), with a focus on fashion and fine art photography.

Yes! I earned my BFA in photography from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), consistently ranked in the top ten best art schools in the US by Art & Object and Artsy among others, where I attended on a merit scholarship.
I also have six years experience writing and performing standup comedy and was featured in TimeOutNY for creating a comedy room in 2021. I have currently begun production work on a new show that I will be hosting at The QED starting in Sept! My sister has directed and produced films where I have played comedic roles: Zazu the clown, a heart puppet and I was also cast as a secretary raised by wolves on the comedic short, "How I Met Your Daddy," '23. My comedy is champagne—bubbly and dry.
